The Creatine Kinase Foundation is a nonprofit organisation founded in 1998. The organisation serves to support scientific studies on health through work of volunteers.
Headed by Lizzy Brewster as “creative scientific director”, many medical students, doctors, scientists and other professionals in different countries around the world have contributed in the past years, and have co-authored a body of scientific work.
With research on energy metabolism, there is a focus on cardiovascular disease in underserved population groups including ethnicity and women’s health.
